Wood FillerI live in a house as a single parent with two small children. When I moved into my home there were carpets in every room which I still have not got around to replacing. What has been concerning me more and more is that there are stains all over the carpets that will not come out. Children being as they are, it seems that more stains are appearing every day! I therefore decided to take the plunge and rip up all the carpets and stain and varnish the floorboards. I decided to take advice from a friend whose floorboards I have always admired. He has painstakingly restored all his floors and he has given me some excellent tips. He explained that sometimes wood floorboards can be draughty if there are gaps in the floorboards and advised me to use
Wood Filler in the gaps to try to eliminate this problem. I think using
Wood Filler sounds like an excellent idea as I would be concerned about heating costs if there were gaps in the floorboards. I am therefore in the process of undertaking my little project. I have ripped up all the carpets and, although there do not seem to be large gaps in the floorboards, I have bought some
Wood Filler to make them as airtight as possible. I cannot wait to get started and feel that my home is about to be completely transformed.
